Adecco Staffing is sourcing for a temporary Shipping & Receiving clerk in Billerica MA. This is a 1st shift opportunity and ideal candidates have at least two years of direct experience!

Shipping & Receiving Clerk 1st shift 8am-5pm $25-$26/hr

The Shipper/Receiver will ensure that the customers receive their orders within specified timeframes and these items will be documented and transacted according to company policies and procedures. This includes assuring inventory is transacted and maintained accurately and a FIFO basis.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for managing and tracking all outgoing shipments from our distribution center.

• Verifies correct parts/materials received matching to packing list.

• wraps and packs components shipping.

• Create and maintain a safe a professional work area.

• Ensure compliance of all safety procedures, safe operation of all equipment, proper use of personal protection equipment and good housekeeping practices.

• Use software to prepare, track, check, prioritize and route orders.

• Manage all important documents such as advanced sales orders, pick slips, bills of lading.

• Help coordinate and process returns.

• Inspect labels, barcodes, packaging materials and other fearers of completed orders.

• Help coordinate and process returns.

• Other duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications:

• 2+ years of shipping or receiving preferred.

• International shipping experience

• Must have experience with DHL, and dealing with FedEx and UPS

• Skilled in ERP system, Microsoft office (especially Excel)

• Organized, detail-oriented, deadline-driven, team player.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.

• Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Pay Details:

$25.00 to $26.00 per hour
