Program Overview Peraton seeks an
EVMS (Earned Value Management System) Domain Analyst
to serve as a key financial and performance management expert, ensuring program success through disciplined cost control, scheduling, and analysis. Your work will help drive accountability, transparency, and operational excellence across one of the most critical infrastructure programs in the nation.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage program finance, cost control, and scheduling functions within a complex federal government contracting environment.
Perform detailed financial analyses of budgets, forecasts, and schedules to meet program and contractual requirements.
Develop, implement, and maintain reporting and analysis systems to support financial planning, performance tracking, and decision‑making.
Oversee Earned Value Management (EVM) processes, ensuring compliance with internal standards and FAA contract requirements.
Track program performance against cost, schedule, and technical baselines; identify and analyze variances, trends, and risks.
Act as a key technical expert on financial analysis, EVM compliance, and performance measurement issues.
Coordinate and resolve financial and compliance issues with government auditors and agencies to ensure accurate interpretation of contract requirements.
Define program planning requirements, integrate financial and scheduling data, and ensure cross‑departmental coordination with engineering, program management, and operations teams.
Interface with FAA customers, subcontractors, and vendors to maintain accurate program reporting and ensure alignment on financial objectives.
Monitor and report performance against established plans to ensure contractual cost and schedule objectives are met or exceeded.
Provide regular updates, variance analyses, and key performance metrics to program leadership and senior management.
Contribute to the continual improvement of Peraton's EVMS tools, processes, and best practices.
Required Qualifications
U.S. Citizenship required.
Must have the ability to obtain / maintain a Public Trust clearance.
Minimum of 8 years with a BS/BA; minimum of 6 years with an MS/MA; minimum of 3 years with a PhD.
Demonstrated proficiency in Earned Value Management (EVM) processes, reporting, and compliance (ANSI/EIA‑748).
Strong understanding of government contract financial management, including FAR, DFARS, and CAS principles.
Experience developing and managing Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) and related performance reporting.
Proven ability to analyze complex financial data and communicate insights to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
Expertise in Microsoft Excel and financial management tools such as Deltek Cobra, wInsight, or Costpoint.
Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting FAA, DOT, or other federal transportation programs.
7‑10 years of experience in program finance, cost control, or EVM analysis in a federal contracting environment.
EVMP certification or equivalent EVM training.
Working knowledge of FAA program management frameworks and reporting requirements.
Demonstrated success improving program financial performance and compliance in a complex, multi‑stakeholder environment.
Salary Range Target Salary Range: $86,000 – $138,000. Salary is determined by factors such as responsibilities, experience, education, skills, geographic location, and business considerations. Eligible employees may also receive overtime, shift differentials, and discretionary bonuses in addition to base pay.
