Description

Position Summary:

The Inventory Control Clerk audits vendor invoices for accuracy and conducts periodic inventories of property assets. Responsibilities must be performed in accordance with all Company standards, policies, and procedures.

Essential Functions:

1. Practice, support, and promote Thunder Valley Casino Resort's "ELITE" company-wide service mission and demonstrate AAA Four Diamond service standards at all times.

2. Ensure vendor invoices agree to purchasing and receiving documentation in order that vendors are paid accurately.

3. Perform daily requisition updates and adjustments to the inventory tracking system.

4. Monitor the inventory to cost effectively eliminate inactive items.

5. Conduct regular audits to ensure all warehouse areas are stocked, labeled, and inventoried properly.

6. Work with Accounting to ensure all month-end inventories, adjustments, and variances are recorded properly.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or successful completion of a GED Certificate.

2. Prior audit experience preferred.

3. Ability to perform basic data entry, including operating a 10-key calculator by touch.

4. Basic spreadsheet knowledge.

5. Good organizational skills.

6. Willing to learn all pertinent aspects of inventory control and accounting related to the job.

7. Ability to work a flexible schedule with varying daily responsibilities.

8. Ability to collaborate directly with property management and Accounting department management.

9. Must be at least 21 years of age.

10. Must be able to obtain UAIC Tribal Gaming License.

Physical Requirements:

1. Requires normal, corrective vision range, the ability to see color and the ability to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols.

2. Ability to lift up to 15 lbs.

3. Ability to sit for the duration of shift.

4. Ability to view a computer monitor for duration of shift.

5. Manual dexterity to operate job related equipment.
