Job Description This role involves managing, configuring, and troubleshooting systems that process and deliver large volumes of business-critical documents from SAP to multiple channels such as printers, fax, email, and web. Responsibilities include ensuring reliable and secure delivery, monitoring job status, handling document transformations, and maintaining system health. This role requires technical skills in OpenText Output Management, and potentially in areas like scripting, database management, and system integrations. Key responsibilities • System administration: Install, configure, and maintain the OpenText Output Server and related components. • Job management: Monitor the lifecycle of output jobs, from submission and processing to delivery, and ensure the timely and secure arrival of documents. • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues related to job failures or system malfunctions and proactively manage alerts and notifications. • Document transformation: Use tools like Output Transformation Server to convert, repurpose, and personalize documents into modern formats like accessible PDF. • Channel delivery: Manage and ensure the successful delivery of documents to various destinations, including print, fax, email, FTP, and secure web portals. • Process optimization: Streamline business processes by reducing delays in document delivery and lowering distribution costs. • Compliance and security: Ensure that document delivery meets regulatory compliance and internal security requirements. Technical expertise:
Strong, hands-on experience with OpenText Output Management products, including Output Server and related modules. •
Technical skills:
Experience with system administration, server configuration, and potentially scripting or programming for customization. • Analytical skills: Ability to monitor system performance, analyze data quality, and troubleshoot complex issues. • Soft skills: Good communication skills to interact with stakeholders and provide support, as well as the ability to manage and prioritize tasks effectively. • Education: A degree in a technical field like Computer Science or a related discipline is often required.
