7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, with holidays and every other weekend required. Block scheduling approved as long as it accommodates every other weekend. Call requirements are voluntary.
Job Description
The NeuroSpine Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality care to patients with higher Med-Surg acuity. The patient population may include individuals with diagnoses such as stroke, seizures, post-operative neuro/spinal surgeries, level 2 trauma patients, level 1 trauma post-ICU care, and other conditions like DKA, renal failure, and general post-operative care.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough neuro assessments and demonstrate critical thinking skills. Manage drains, chest tubes, and groin sites post-interventional radiology. Provide post-surgical care and support for a diverse range of diagnoses. Maintain a patient ratio of 5:1 to 6:1. Participate in floating to other units as required. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Two years of experience in a relevant nursing role. Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS. Expertise in neuro assessments, critical thinking, and post-surgical care. Why ARMStaffing?
