Travel Quality Control/Indexing Technician
to join one of our trusted healthcare partners in
Rancho Mirage, California . This
13-week contract

Position Overview
The
Quality Control/Indexing Technician
will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of electronic medical records and documentation within the facility's information systems. This position requires attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Responsibilities
Verify, review, and index patient records into the appropriate electronic systems Conduct quality control audits to ensure completeness and compliance with hospital policies Identify and correct indexing errors or discrepancies in scanned documents Collaborate with HIM (Health Information Management) staff and clinical departments to resolve data issues Maintain confidentiality and security of all patient information Assist with scanning and archiving medical documentation as needed Support process improvements related to record management and workflow efficiency Education

1 year of previous clerical experience, preferably in a
Medical Records department
or other
healthcare setting
