Position Overview:

Warehouse Receiving Lead

plays a critical role in overseeing the efficient and accurate receipt of incoming goods in a 3PL warehouse environment. This position ensures that all products are received, inventoried, and stored in alignment with client expectations and company standards. The ideal candidate will lead a receiving team, manage daily operations, resolve inventory issues, and foster communication across departments, vendors, and carriers. A strong focus on continuous improvement, safety, and compliance is essential.

Schedule: Sunday-Thursday 3:30PM-12AM

Key Responsibilities Oversee Receiving Operations

Manage and coordinate daily receiving activities to ensure efficient and accurate processing of shipments. Ensure shipments are received in compliance with internal procedures and customer specifications. Inspection and Documentation

Inspect incoming goods for damage, discrepancies, and accuracy against purchase orders. Document and promptly report issues such as damaged items or incorrect shipments. Team Supervision

Lead the receiving team by assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and providing training as needed. Enforce adherence to operational procedures, safety policies, and quality standards. Inventory Management

Collaborate with the inventory team to accurately log received goods into the inventory system. Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical stock and system records. Communication and Coordination

Serve as the primary contact for all receiving-related matters. Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, and internal departments to resolve delivery or receiving issues. Process Improvement

Evaluate receiving processes regularly and suggest improvements to boost efficiency and accuracy. Assist in the creation and refinement of standard operating procedures (SOPs). Safety and Compliance

Ensure receiving operations comply with all safety standards and regulatory requirements. Conduct routine safety inspections and address any hazards or non-compliance issues. Reporting

Maintain accurate records of receiving activities, logs, and reports. Provide updates and metrics to warehouse management on receiving operations. Equipment Management

Ensure the proper and safe use of receiving equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks. Report equipment issues and maintenance needs promptly. Problem Resolution

Proactively resolve issues related to shipment discrepancies, damaged goods, or delays. Qualifications

Bilingual (Spanish) is preferred. Minimum of 2 years' experience in warehouse operations or management, preferably in a 3PL environment. Strong understanding of warehouse procedures, inventory systems, and logistics. Proven leadership and team management abilities. Proficient in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and related technology. Strong problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills. Excellent verbal and written communication.
