"Navitas Partners, LLC" is seeking an experienced
Finance Project Manager (FPM)
to lead and oversee finance and budget operations related to IT procurement and contracting projects. The role supports a large-scale health insurance exchange initiative designed to enhance healthcare access for Massachusetts residents.
The ideal candidate will bring a blend of
financial oversight, project management, and operational expertise , ensuring compliance with all applicable state and departmental policies while driving efficiency across multiple workstreams. Responsibilities Coordinate and manage all finance-related activities for the program, ensuring compliance with state and departmental requirements. Act as the primary liaison between the Program Team and the Administration & Finance unit. Participate in finance-related program meetings, including operations, change management, and release management sessions. Provide subject-matter expertise in developing finance-related procurement and contract requirements. Monitor and analyze cost allocations for ongoing and proposed projects. Assess financial implications of operational and development activities. Conduct ongoing budget performance analyses, forecasts, and variance tracking. Design financial reporting templates and deliver monthly/ad hoc reports for senior leadership. Support the development of annual budgets, funding requests, and expenditure approvals. Respond to internal financial inquiries from leadership and program stakeholders. Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance financial and operational efficiency. Promote best practices in financial and project management across the program. Required Skills & Qualifications Minimum 3 years of experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting (government experience preferred). Familiarity with state budgeting and accounting systems. Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency; experience with SharePoint and Jira a plus. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under tight deadlines. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Demonstrated ability to collaborate in cross-functional environments. Education Bachelor's degree
in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field required. MBA in Finance or Accounting
preferred.
