The Forklift driver will operate electric and non- powered material handling equipment including Stand-Up Forklift, stock picker, WAVE and pallet jack to perform the following functions:
RESPONSIBILITIES: • Pick work orders pertaining to the various warehouse/production areas using powered industrial equipment. Frequent bending, twisting and lifting motions are required. • Assists the receiving crew in the off-loading of inbound components and raw materials. • Assists in the loading of trucks of finished goods for customer shipments and deliveries. • Transport finished goods from the various production zones to the designated staging area to await put away. • Provide support to the various kitchen areas with raw material replenishment when needed. • Perform all other job- related duties as directed by management • Waters and re-charges truck batteries • Put away received raw materials and components in to racking with the use of RF scanner. • Observe all safety and security procedures. Report any potentially unsafe conditions. Operate all equipment in the prescribed manner.
The expected salary range for this position is $18.75/hour. The actual compensation will be determined by experience and other factors permitted by the law.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or (6) months to one (1) year of related experience and/or training. An equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable. The ability to become in-house forklift certified as required by OSHA.
Must have Stand- Up Forklift Experience
