Are you an experienced software engineer with a passion for DevOps and a track record of designing and deploying innovative solutions? We are looking for talented individuals to join our team in Sarasota, focusing on creating mission-critical applications for the Intelligence Community and Department of Defense.
Role Overview:
Collaborate with a skilled team to enhance and modernize cloud architectures. Design, develop, and deploy scalable applications using containerized environments. Build and manage systems with Docker and Kubernetes. Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines for seamless software delivery. Develop and optimize ETL pipelines for efficient data processing. Configure and manage message queuing systems like RabbitMQ. Automate infrastructure management and deployment tasks with Python scripting. Monitor system performance and enhance reliability and efficiency. Collaborate on best practices for deployment and infrastructure design. Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 2 to 10 years of experience in DevOps environments. Proficient in Linux/Unix systems (Rocky, RHEL, or similar). Skilled in Python or other modern languages such as C/C++ or Java. Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm). Understanding of DevSecOps principles and CI/CD pipeline creation (GitLab, Jenkins, GitHub Actions). Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, GovCloud, Azure, or GCP. Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills. Active TS clearance required, TS/SCI preferred. CompTIA Security+ certification or the ability to obtain one within 30 days of hire. Bonus Points:
Experience with multiple programming languages and Python data science libraries (NumPy, pandas, SciPy). Developed RESTful microservices with frameworks like FastAPI or Spring Boot. Experience refactoring legacy systems into containerized or microservice architectures. Knowledge of ETL pipeline development and message brokers such as RabbitMQ. Experience with Agile workflows, quality and security scanning tools. Familiar with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation). Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack). Understanding of security best practices and compliance requirements. Relevant certifications: AWS DevOps Engineer, CKA, CKAD.
