JOB SUMMARY
The F&B Shift Supervisor is essential in overseeing daily operations within the food and beverage department, ensuring a high level of service, quality, and guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a keen attention to detail, and a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

It may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities deemed necessary. • Supervise daily operations of the food and beverage outlets, ensuring compliance with service standards and policies. • Train, motivate, and evaluate staff to deliver exceptional service and maintain high-quality food and beverage standards. • Monitor guest satisfaction, address concerns, and ensure a positive dining experience. • Assist in managing inventory, including ordering, receiving, and controlling food and beverage supplies. • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and presentation. • Maintain cleanliness and organization of all dining areas, following health and safety regulations. • Prepare shift reports, including sales and labor cost analysis, and communicate findings to management. • Implement promotional initiatives and special events to enhance guest engagement and revenue. • Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE • High school diploma or equivalent; degree in hospitality management or a related field preferred. • Previous experience in a supervisory role within the food and beverage industry is required. • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations is essential. • Able to obtain and maintain a valid Kentucky gaming/racing license.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS
The employee is regularly required to stand, speak, hear, use hands, and reach with hands and arms. The employee may occasionally be required to sit. Specific vision abilities include close and distance vision, color and depth perception, and peripheral vision. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to ten (10) pounds. The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those encountered by an associate while performing the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions. When working in the office, the noise level is moderately quiet.
