Job Title: CNC Machinist Level 1 & 2
Location: Lancaster, PA
Shifts Available:
2nd Shift: Monday - Thursday, 3:00 PM - 1:30 AM (40 hours/week)
Weekend Shift: Friday - Sunday, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM Pay Rate: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour (based on experience) Employment Type: Full-Time Staffing Partner: Partners Personnel
Position Summary Partners Personnel is seeking CNC Machinists (Level 1 & 2) to join a precision manufacturing team in Lancaster, PA. This role involves advanced machine setup, operating CNC equipment, process troubleshooting, and achieving tight tolerances. Level 2 machinists will also support process improvement efforts and mentor junior staff.
Key Responsibilities Set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC and grinding equipment, including:
Cylindrical Grinding
WEDM (Wire EDM)
Surface Grinding
Preferred additional experience in:
Core Drill
CNC Slice
SPLAP
Centerless Grind
MWS
Achieve and maintain precision tolerances below .0005
Perform troubleshooting of mechanical and quality issues
Collaborate with Quality and Engineering to resolve process and inspection challenges
Train and mentor Level 1 machinists and operators
Document and refine setup procedures and standard work instructions
Conduct root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions
Assist with machine repair and preventive maintenance
Maintain safety, quality, and production standards
Support autonomous maintenance routines and schedules
Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 2 years of CNC machining experience
Expertise in tight-tolerance machining (below .0005)
Strong mechanical skills and proficiency in blueprint reading and GD&T
