Description
The warehouse supervisor is responsible for all warehouse operations. The position requires strong organizational skills and an aptitude in maintaining and building collaborative partnerships with internal departments.
Key Responsibilities Coordinates and oversees the inspection, preparation, and distribution of customer equipment, including conducting initial inspections, moving, and organizing equipment in and out of the warehouse, issuing equipment to field personnel, and assisting in inventory reconciliation. Coordinate all warehouse operations. Moves inventory by scheduling materials to be moved to and from warehouse, coordinating inventory transfers with related departments. Delivers supplies and equipment to departments by receiving and transferring items. Maintains storage area by organizing floor space; adhering to storage design principles; recommending improvements. Maintains inventory by conducting physical counts; reconciling variances; inputting data. Handles shipping and receiving responsibilities such as packing and preparing items for shipment, loading, and unloading trucks, and inspecting and documenting received materials. Conducts regular equipment inventory counts and generates and submits appropriate reports. Accurately inputs inventory transactions into appropriate databases, spreadsheets, billing systems, and/or information management systems. Performs exceptional customer service to internal and external customers. Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
Must have a valid driver's license. High School Diploma or 4 years of relevant experience. Forklift Certified. Able to organize and prioritize effectively. Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Power Point. Works well with a team. Exhibits effective communication skills, essential to providing instructions and suggestions about warehouse organization to management and other warehouse associates. Pays close attention to detail, a skill essential in identifying order discrepancies and product deficiencies. Demonstrates strong customer service skills, for the purpose of handling customer complaints. Possesses the mental and physical acuity necessary to drive and operate heavy machinery. Must be able to multi-task and work efficiently. Demonstrates excellent time management skills. Possesses a clear knowledge of computer ordering systems. Has the ability to navigate and troubleshoot computer systems as necessary. Can think creatively and spatially, to organize inventory efficiently and effectively. Ability to communicate in the English language. Bilingual in any language is a plus. Possesses the physical strength necessary to lift heavy boxes and crates and move them around the warehouse. Required to reach and hold on to items at chest level or reach above the shoulder. Can maintain the stamina needed for long hours of physical labor. Job Benefits
