Summary: Our client, a leader in plastics manufacturing, is seeking dependable and safety-minded
Production Material Handlers
to support operations during 2nd and 3rd shifts. This role plays a critical part in keeping the production floor running smoothly by ensuring raw materials, WIP (work in progress), and finished goods are delivered and staged accurately and efficiently. If you're experienced with forklifts and thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment, this is a great opportunity to join a steady operation with room for growth.
2nd Shift & 3rd Shift Opportunities Available
Key Responsibilities: Safely operate forklifts including counterbalance, reach truck, or other powered industrial vehicles. Transport raw materials to production lines and remove finished goods to designated staging or storage areas. Load and unload trailers, ensuring accuracy and care with all shipments. Track inventory movements using handheld scanners or manual logs as needed. Conduct daily equipment inspections and promptly report maintenance issues. Support general material handling and light production tasks as required. Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment. Follow all safety guidelines, company policies, and operational procedures. Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Valid forklift certification. Prior experience in a manufacturing environment Preferred:
Ability to read blueprints Prior material handling experience in a plastics manufacturing environment Familiarity with WIP and finished goods inventory movement. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand/walk for long periods, and work in a fast-paced setting. Basic skills with barcode scanners or computers Titles Encouraged to Apply:
