Job Details
Responsibilities: • Responsible for Scheduling, Assignment, Training, Evaluation, & Supervision of Respiratory Therapy Therapist • Coordinates care between shifts & department • Provides pertinent information to department managers to assist in evaluating department needs & maintain or improve quality of care. • Maintains current knowledge of hospital, department & regulatory standards. Also includes responsibilities as a respiratory Therapist. • Effective communication with patients, families and staff.
Requirements: • Graduate of an AMA approved program in Respiratory or Cardio-respiratory Therapy ; (Minimum BS in Chemical, physical, or biological science required) • 3 years clinical experience (minimum)• Current NYS RT License and active membership in the NBRC • Ethical judgement and effective communication skills required. • ACLS and BLS certification
Prior experience working in a leadership role preferred
Posted Salary Range
USD $58.80 - USD $67.59 /Hr.
