About the job:
The Production Manager leads plant operations to ensure safety, quality, delivery, cost efficiency, and employee engagement goals are consistently met. This role drives performance improvement initiatives, oversees daily operations, and fosters a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
We're looking for someone who: • Holds a bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical field • Has 5+ years of manufacturing leadership experience with direct reports • Demonstrates strong understanding of manufacturing operations, safety, and quality systems (ISO, QS) • Is experienced in Lean Six Sigma, continuous improvement, and KPI-driven management • Communicates effectively across all levels of the organization • Is highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with SOPs, SOCs, and process documentation • Possesses excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills • Has experience managing environmental compliance and behavioral-based safety programs • (Preferred) Has experience in supply chain optimization and customer service collaboration
What you'll do: • Implement policies and procedures to improve daily plant operations and report key performance indicators (KPIs) • Drive continuous improvement and safety initiatives to strengthen employee engagement and operational efficiency • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and cost control measures to achieve financial objectives • Oversee quality initiatives to enhance plant-wide quality metrics and customer satisfaction • Lead, coach, and hold team members accountable to performance and behavior standards • Partner cross-functionally with engineering, technology, supply chain, and customer service teams to streamline operations • Foster a positive, collaborative culture while modeling professionalism and leadership excellence • Ensure compliance with quality systems, environmental regulations, and company standards • Monitor results, address challenges proactively, and align departmental objectives with business goals
