Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Administrator with strong Workday experience to manage end-to-end U.S. payroll processing. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and ensures payroll accuracy, compliance, and timeliness for a multi-state workforce.
What you will be doing:
Process and reconcile biweekly payrolls using Workday Payroll. Validate data integrity, resolve discrepancies, and manage off-cycle adjustments. Coordinate with HR and Benefits teams on employee updates and deductions. Handle wage garnishments, tax withholding, and year-end (W-2) reporting. Participate in Workday configuration testing, upgrades, and payroll process improvements. Support payroll accounting and GL reconciliations. Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations. What you must have:
3+ years of payroll experience, including multi-state U.S. payroll. Hands-on experience with Workday Payroll (required). Strong knowledge of payroll compliance and reporting. Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, reconciliations). Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills. Nice to have:
