Position Summary:

The Global Planning Manager develops and manages production schedules to ensure materials, equipment, and personnel are available for timely product delivery, while coordinating with purchasing, quality, and manufacturing. Global Planning Manager oversees all operational project planning functions on fast moving engineering/design & manufacturing projects, and ensures production schedules are being met and shipments to customers are completed on time.

Responsibilities:

Develop Production Schedules: - Create and maintain production schedules to meet customer demand and internal capacity driven targets.

- Partner with Project Management and Senior Leadership to ensure satisfaction of project milestones and customer

requirements.

- Facilitate strategic scenario planning sessions with Project Management and Senior Leadership to align on high level project

execution at a Global scale

Manage Materials: - Oversee material availability and inventory levels to prevent shortages and ensure smooth workflow.

Coordinate Resources: - Plan for the efficient allocation of machines, manpower, and other resources required for production.

- Manage and further develop all planning policies and procedures

Communicate and Collaborate: - Work cross-functionally with departments such as purchasing, engineering, and operations to resolve issues and adapt to

changes.

Monitor Performance: - Track production performance against schedules and identify risks and potential disruptions, developing recovery plans as

needed.

- Monitor and report performance and progress through analytical techniques to identify risks and protect project margin.

Process Improvement: - Identify and implement strategies for continuous improvement in the planning processes, utilizing Lean6 methodology

- Execute other tasks as assigned

Ability to travel when required Requirements

Analytical and Organizational Skills: - Strong ability to analyze data, forecast trends, and maintain meticulous records.

Communication: - Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with all levels of staff and stakeholders.

- Can handle sensitive information with integrity and confidentiality

Technical Proficiency: - Knowledge of MRP systems and production scheduling software. Experience with Infor Syteline is a plus.

- Proficiency in MS Project & MS Office

- 5+ years of experience in a custom/specialist manufacturing environment

- Demonstrate experience in project planning, scheduling, estimating, project management, and control of projects with a high

degree of complexity

Teamwork: - Strong interpersonal skills to foster collaboration and accountability within cross-functional teams.

Education:

- A bachelor's degree in operations management or business administration with relevant experience
