BASIC FUNCTION & RESPONSIBILITY:
Direct all incoming telephone calls and greet visitors providing basic information and services. Represent the campus in a professional and positive manner. Assist with the efficient operation of the campus office.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Certification: High school diploma or equivalent Special Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Knowledge of acceptable telephone etiquette Skill in applying policies and procedures Skill in operating standard computer and software applications Skill in written and verbal communication Proficient keyboarding skills Skill in providing excellent customer service Ability to understand and follow detailed written and verbal instructions Ability to operate a multi-line telephone system Ability to organize and prioritize tasks Experience:

Support of Administrative, Fiscal and/or Facilities Functions:
Process incoming calls efficiently and route to correct location. Update the announcement memo for the main telephone line. Provide general information and assistance to all callers and visitors in a friendly and professional Act as liaison between the campus and its customers. Greet and verify identification of visitors, answer walk-in inquiries and refer visitors to appropriate office or individual. Assist with campus projects and perform clerical tasks as requested. Provide assistance to staff/campuses/departments as requested. Receive, sort, and distribute mail, messages, documents, and other deliveries. Maintain computerized files using personal computer, including reports, employee roster, and mailing lists. Assist with the scheduling of teacher conferences. Maintain confidentiality. Student Support:
Assist in resolving parent/student issues and concerns in a timely manner. Assist with the receipt and distribution of student materials, including homework requests. Assist in managing student behavior in accordance with Student Code of Conduct and student handbook. Organization Improvement:
Work collaboratively to improve programs. Professional Growth and Development:
Participate in professional development that increases effectiveness and improves District performance. School/Community Relations:
Interact positively with employees and the community to provide needed information and to promote the District in a favorable manner. Organization Morale:
Participate in team building activities. Communicate and collaborate with campus/department staff to enhance service delivery and customer satisfaction. Other Responsibilities:
