The Opportunity:

Williams International has an exciting opportunity for a Non-Destructive Testing Technician to join our team. Working within a team environment, the NDT Technician be responsible for conducting penetrant and radiographic inspections to ensure parts are manufactured in accordance with manufacturing standards and blueprint specifications.

This position is for 3rd Shift (9:00pm - 6:00am).

Additionally, the Technician will: Set-up and operation of Penetrant inspection. Inspect parts according to engineering and customer standards and specifications. Maintain accurate and reliable documentation. Visually inspects parts to ensure they are free of burrs or damaged surfaces. Maintain proper identification of parts per planning specifications and ensures that accurate and reliable records and documentation are maintained. Communicate change of shift requirements to ensure team members receive accurate and reliable information and documentation. Perform routine maintenance of machines and equipment operated. Clean, organize and maintain cellular manufacturing work area in accordance with established standards. Ensure the continuous flow of materials and parts through the Cell. Adhere to all safety standards and regulations. Responsible for and accountable for product safety and the quality of work, including, as a minimum, all elements defined in the Company's Quality Policy. Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications: High School or GED 1-3 years working in a manufacturing quality inspection role Experience working with NDI or NDT practices preferred

Level 1 Penetrant, X-Ray, Mag Particle certification preferred but not required

Must be able to read, understand and correctly interpret basic blueprint drawings and follow planning instructions. Familiar with GD&T specifications and capable of performing basic inspections based on engineering drawings. Ability to use common measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, gauges (pin, thread, indicator, height), optical comparators etc. Attention to detail, ability to perform multiple tasks at the same time. Demonstrates strong organizational and collaborative skills in a fast-paced environment. Physical lifting requirements include; ability to lift 50 pounds (4 inches to 25 inches), capable of pushing or pulling a weight of 60 pounds, a grip strength of at least 50 pounds, and be able to reach above the shoulder (65 inches). U.S. citizenship is required. Position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance, if needed.
