Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Discipline: RN Start Date: 12/01/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Position Details Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday – 8:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Call Requirements: Yes – STEMI program call rotation . “Buddy” call during orientation After orientation: minimum of 10 call days/month Ratios: 1:4 Block Scheduling: Possible, depending on facility need RTO Policy: Maximum of 10 days RTO allowed; assignment extended by 2 weeks No RTO permitted during the first or last week of the assignment Experience & Certification Requirements Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Cardiac Cath Lab / Cardiovascular Invasive Procedures Certifications Required: BLS (Basic Life Support) ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) Preferred Certifications: NIHSS Vaccination Requirements: COVID-19 Vaccine: Required (Medical/Religious Exemptions Only) Skills & Proficiencies Clinical/Technical Skills: Activated Clotting Time (ACT), Cardioversion, End-Tidal CO₂ Monitoring, Dysrhythmia Management Vascular Closure Systems (Perclose, StarClose), Sheath Removal and Monitoring Pressure Ulcer Prevention, Infection Control, Universal Protocol (Time-Out) Procedural Sedation, IV Therapy, Thrombolytics, Antiarrhythmics, Antihypertensives Ventilator Management, Impella, IABP, TAVI/TAVR, PCI, and Diagnostic Catheterizations Specialty Procedures: Cardiac Cath Lab: Angioplasty, PCI, Stent Placement, Right/Left Heart Caths, Pacemaker/Defibrillator procedures Electrophysiology: Cardiac Mapping, Ablation, AICD Insertion, LAA Closure, Watchman, Tilt Table Studies Facility Information Type: Acute Care Hospital Total Staffed Beds: 210 Charting System: Meditech v6.08 Scrub Color: Provided by facility Parking: Free (any unrestricted space) Observed Holidays New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Holiday period: 11:00 p.m. day before – 11:00 p.m. day of Must work a minimum of 4 continuous hours within the holiday window for pay eligibility Additional Facility Policies Smoke-Free Facility: Must be nicotine-free ; negative test required Attendance Policy: 3 call-outs = termination Shift change refusal within 48 hours notice → forfeiture of guaranteed hours Shift change refusal with ≥1-week notice → may result in termination Orientation Modules: Allow at least 4 hours to complete prior to start PJ -HC (3068085) About LanceSoft Established in 2000, LanceSoft is a Certified MBE and Woman-Owned organization.
