What You’ll Do As an Event Director with Prep Network, you’ll take the lead in delivering high‑quality, well‑organized, and memorable athletic events within your region. You’ll oversee all aspects of event execution—from setup to closing—ensuring each event runs seamlessly and reflects Prep Network’s commitment to professionalism, safety, and inclusivity. Working closely with the Event Operations Team, you’ll collaborate to align on logistics, staffing, and event execution, ensuring a smooth experience both on‑site and behind the scenes. As the Event Director, you’ll be the driving force that brings together people, planning, and precision to create an exceptional experience for athletes, spectators, and staff alike.
Core Responsibilities
Oversee all aspects of on‑site event execution, ensuring seamless operations from setup to teardown.
Collaborate with the Event Operations Team to align on logistics, staffing, and resources.
Maintain Prep Network’s standards for professionalism, safety, and inclusivity throughout each event.
Direct event staff, schedules, and communication to deliver a high‑quality participant experience.
Achieve a score of 9 or higher on the event scorecard, demonstrating consistent excellence and event quality.
Must‑Haves in a Candidate
Experience in event management, operations, or sports administration.
Strong organizational and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
Effective and proactive communication with all stakeholders—including event staff, participants, and the Event Operations Team—to ensure alignment and smooth execution.
Ability to anticipate challenges and identify creative, effective solutions under pressure.
Accountability: Take ownership of outcomes and hold event staff to Prep Network’s standards for quality and professionalism.
Self‑motivation: Operate independently with initiative, reliability, and follow‑through.
Curiosity: Continuously look for ways to improve event quality, efficiency, and the overall participant experience.

Work Eligibility Prep Network is engaging contractors authorized to work in the United States and able to accept payment through the U.S. banking and tax system (Form 1099‑NEC).
