My confidential client is a

pre-Series B (about to announce Series A with $20M in funding) , AI-powered technology firm building the enterprise co-pilot for the

restaurant industry . They're already powering over 9,000 restaurants, including major brands, and are now looking for a

Director of Inside Sales

to be the architect of their next stage of growth. This is a launchpad role with a direct line to the CRO and a clear path to

VP of Sales .

What You’ll Be Building You will own, scale, and optimize the entire outbound sales motion across SMB and Mid-Market. Your mission is to take the company from

~$20M to $50M+ in revenue .

Leadership & Scale:

Lead and expand a high-performing team of

~10+ closers and SDRs

across NYC and SF.

Quota Ownership:

Carry a team quota of

$5–10M+ .

Talent Magnet:

Recruit, onboard, and develop top-tier talent , bringing a strong "followership" of proven sales professionals. Turn B-players into A-players.

System Architecture:

Build and optimize all sales infrastructure: forecasting, CRM discipline (Salesforce), enablement, and training, driving a

data-obsessed

sales culture.

Strategic Partnership:

Collaborate closely with SDR leadership, Marketing, and RevOps to maximize efficiency and shorten sales cycles.

The Ideal Director of Sales Leader We are looking for a rare blend of

operator, leader, and recruiter

with a proven track record in high-growth B2B SaaS.

Experience:

7-12 years in B2B SaaS sales

with direct experience leading outbound teams; ideally grew from SDR → AE → Manager → Director.

Track Record:

Proven ability to manage teams that have delivered

$10M+ in annual revenue growth

and successfully carried team quotas of $5–10M+.

Recruiting Firepower:

History of

recruiting and retaining top sellers

(ideally 10+ hires) with multiple reps closing $1M+ annually.

Industry Preference:

Experience in SMB and Mid-Market SaaS;

restaurant, retail, or delivery tech experience is a plus.

Culture Fit:

Comfortable and thriving in a

high-performance, in-person culture

(5 days/week on-site in SF or NYC).

Current Role:

Must currently be leading a team of

8-15 reps .

Target Earnings:

$260K - $350K OTE

(50/50 split). Base is commensurate with experience and the candidate’s ability to bring a strong followership.

Equity:

Mentorship:

You'll be partnering directly with one of the top operators in restaurant tech, creating a clear

launchpad toward a VP of Sales title.
