We are now launching a Life Sciences Training Program in the North Chicagoland area focused on hands‑on, real‑world training for experienced, aspiring and entry‑level professionals in FDA‑regulated environments.

About the Role
We’re seeking an experienced QC Analyst / Analytical Chemist to join as a Part‑Time Trainer (On‑Site) for our upcoming training program scheduled to be launched in 2026.
As a trainer, you will lead hands‑on lab sessions and demonstrate core QC workflows, calibrations, and instrument operations—helping trainees gain practical confidence using industry‑relevant systems and instrumentation.
You’ll also contribute to setting up the lab, writing SOPs, and designing structured modules that simulate real GMP lab environments.
Key Responsibilities
Lead hands‑on training sessions in QC lab operations (sample prep, weighing, calibration, documentation)
Handling and qualification of instruments: pH meters, analytical balances, IR spectroscopy, UV‑Vis, and HPLC systems
Instrument calibration and validation (IQ/OQ/PQ, performance checks, documentation)
Other responsibilities include:
Assist in developing lab SOPs, calibration logs, safety workflows, and documentation
Help execute mock experiments (e.g., tablet dissolution, HPLC sample runs)
Support training curriculum design for lab safety, documentation, and PPE use
Collaborate with remote SMEs (e.g., Empower CDS, CSV/QA trainers)
Mentor trainees on real‑world problem‑solving and documentation best practices
Preferred Experience & Skills
5+ years in a GMP‑regulated QC lab as a QC Analyst, Analytical Chemist, or Scientist
Hands‑on experience with:
HPLC, UV‑Vis, IR, IC, pH meters, balances
Instrument calibration and validation (IQ/OQ/PQ)
Knowledge of GxP documentation, lab safety, and compliance practices
Familiarity with Empower CDS or similar systems (a plus)
Experience with SOPs, calibration records, or validation protocols
Prior mentoring or training experience (preferred, not required)
