Job Details
Key Responsibilities and Duties Develop, lead, verify, and maintain the company’s Food Safety Plans and Programs. Ensure SQF documentation and FSMA compliance across all production areas. Conduct internal audits to validate system implementation and compliance. Validate Sanitation and Quality Control programs for ongoing effectiveness. Lead Management Reviews and collaborate on Crisis Management testing. Verify corrective and preventive actions; oversee complaint resolution processes. Train personnel on SQF and FSMA protocols. Assign food safety responsibilities and verify accountability across departments. Act as the primary approver of the Food Safety Plan and its revisions.
Qualifications – Needed Education: Bachelor’s Degree preferred (Food Science, Microbiology, or related field). Certifications: SQF Practitioner Certification and PCQI/HACCP certification required. Experience: Minimum 3–5 years in Food Manufacturing QA or Food Safety role. Technical Skills: Proficient with SQF Standards, FSMA regulations, and Quality Systems. Soft Skills: Organized, detail-oriented, leadership-focused, and collaborative. Proven ability to develop and implement food safety programs, conduct audits, and drive continuous improvement.
