Senior Blockchain Solidity Engineer
Location: Dallas, Texas or Tampa, Florida (relocation allowed). The position may require travel to project locations.
Responsibilities
Lead the design and development of secure, scalable smart contracts.
Mentor teams and drive innovation in a fast‑paced decentralized tech environment.
Design sophisticated contract patterns, identify EVM execution issues, and participate in smart‑contract audits.
Lead integration efforts with frontend and backend teams and guide architecture decisions for decentralized applications.
Leverage CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, and DevOps practices for blockchain environments.
Required Qualifications
Located within commuting distance of Dallas, TX or Tampa, FL, or willing to relocate.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or equivalent; or three years of progressive experience in lieu of each year of education.
7+ years of overall software development experience.
7+ years of hands‑on Solidity experience developing secure and optimized production‑grade smart contracts.
In‑depth understanding of contract design patterns, best practices, Ethereum blockchain architecture, EVM internals, and Layer 2 solutions.
Deep experience in Ethereum smart‑contract security and Agile methodologies.
Expertise in developing and optimizing smart contracts (ERC‑20, ERC‑721, ERC‑1155, custom protocols).
Advanced experience with smart‑contract testing, debugging, and simulation tools (Hardhat, Foundry, Truffle, Ganache).
Proven track record of writing gas‑efficient and secure smart contracts; knowledge of cryptographic primitives and security best practices.
Strong experience in identifying and mitigating smart‑contract vulnerabilities (reentrancy, front‑running, flash‑loan exploits).
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, and DevOps practices for blockchain environments.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience in tokenomics, governance models, or DAO frameworks.
Hands‑on experience with The Graph protocol, blockchain indexing, and data querying.

Exposure to containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes) in decentralized environments.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; ability to mentor junior engineers and lead technical discussions.
Experience working in a global delivery model and willingness to travel as needed.
