Description As a member of the Solutions Architect team, the Solutions Architect II will design and drive technical sales of technology solutions for ISG customers. The role requires a comprehensive understanding of ISG’s portfolio and entails participation in sales scoping, proposal creation, and collaboration with account managers, engineers, project managers, vendors, and distributors. The Solutions Architect acts as the safeguard between sales and delivery, ensuring accurate expectations and profitable projects.
Key Accountabilities
Owner of Technical Pre‑Sales and Related Process
Solution Design – Managed Recurring Revenue (MRR) and Professional Services (PS) Revenue
Client Presentations, Assessments, Solution Reviews
New MRR development and execution

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Understand ISG vision and role objectives
Develop strategic roadmaps for clients and prospects
Support sales in client discovery, assessments, and technical gathering
Collaborative Skills
Perform thorough project handoff to delivery teams
Contribute to Managed Services and Professional Services goals (time entry, deliverables, SLA, customer satisfaction, lead generation)
Support sale of advanced technology and Managed Services solutions with sales team
Follow team policies and complete assigned duties
Technical Skills
Design and architect advanced technical solutions, including proposals, scopes of work, and service documentation
Design managed services solutions and MRR agreements
Maintain awareness of new technologies and industry resources
Participate in presales meetings as a technical design facilitator
Keep up to date with ISG products and services and their value propositions
Engage in technical training and acquire required certifications
Customer Service Skills
Meet presales performance expectations and develop technical skills
Sustain customer satisfaction and resolve technical sales issues
Build positive vendor relationships and stay current on technology offerings
Professional Skills
Oral & written communication excellence
Customer service and conflict resolution
Presentation to various sized audiences
Leadership and management of multiple priorities

Requirements
Technical Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
Minimum 5+ years in MSP Solution Architect or related roles
Professional level certifications in storage, compute/servers, networking, wireless, unified communications, security, etc.
Strong experience with Microsoft products (Office 365, Microsoft 365, Skype for Business, SharePoint Online, Azure, Power BI, EMS, Dynamics 365)
Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
