Overview
The Bronx, NY Veterans Affairs Medical Center is recruiting an Endocrinologist.
Responsibilities Responsibilities include outpatient and inpatient general endocrine and diabetes consults, including Thyroid FNA with ultrasound guidance. We are a teaching program with rotating Endocrinology fellows from The Mount Sinai Endocrinology fellowship; medical students also rotate with our service. Teaching responsibilities also include lectures in endocrinology for medical residents at least a few times per year. You would be joining a collegiate team who work together to serve our Veterans, providing them with up to date and comprehensive endocrine/diabetes care.
Work Schedule Work schedule is Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week with occasional weekend coverage of inpatient consults.
Qualifications Board certification/eligibility in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism is required.

One full & unrestricted license from any state is permissible to work at VA
CME: $1,000 per year stipend & 5 days paid absence for conferences, etc.

26 days paid vacation & 13 days paid sick time per year with unlimited carry-over
