About The Job We seek an Executive Director to direct the overall operation of the organization with the objective of making music at the highest professional level. Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Executive Director is responsible for all aspects of the organization, including:
Institutional planning
Fiscal operations
Marketing/communications
Fundraising
Concert production
He/she will manage a dedicated staff and team of volunteers as well as an annual operating budget of approximately $1.4 million. The Executive Director will work with the Artistic Director and Board of Directors to forge the innovative vision and strategic direction for this growing organization.
Responsibilities
Direct the overall operation of the organization.
Manage organizational planning and budgeting.
Lead marketing, communications, fundraising, and concert production initiatives.
Supervise staff and volunteers.
Collaborate with the Artistic Director and Board of Directors to develop strategic vision.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
5+ years of related experience, preferably in a cultural institution or arts organization.
Strong marketing, public relations, and fundraising experience.
