Job Details: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Real Estate Closing Assistant to join our team. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a diverse team of professionals who are committed to providing top-notch services.
Responsibilities: As a Real Estate Closing Assistant, your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Assisting in the preparation and review of documents related to real estate transactions, including purchase agreements, deeds, and title documents. 2. Coordinating and managing the closing process for various real estate transactions. 3. Tracking legal fee quotes and ensuring that all invoices are accurate and paid in a timely manner. 4. Working with escrow agents, lenders, mortgage brokers, and other parties to ensure that transactions are completed smoothly and efficiently. 5. Conducting research on property records, title histories, and other relevant information. 6. Maintaining and organizing client files, and ensuring that all documents are properly filed and easily accessible. 7. Communicating with clients, attorneys, and other parties to address any concerns or issues that may arise during the closing process. 8. Ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements pertaining to real estate transactions.
Qualifications: The ideal candidate for this position will have the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Real Estate Closing Assistant or in a similar role within a title or escrow agency. 2. Extensive knowledge of the closing process. 3. Experience with escrow management and tracking legal fee quotes. 4. Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously. 5. Strong attention to detail, with the ability to spot potential issues before they become problematic. 6. Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, attorneys, and other parties. 7. A bachelor’s degree is preferred, but not required. 8. Must be able to work in-office 4x/week in Princeton, NJ
