Executive Director
– National Assistance League, Burbank, California The Moran Company is pleased to partner with the National Assistance League to recruit the organization's next Executive Director. The National Assistance League is a national nonprofit volunteer organization founded in 1919 with the mission to engage and empower volunteers to strengthen communities. With 95 local chapters and over 17,000 volunteers across the United States, the Association supports chapters in addressing the emotional and physical needs of children and adults through various philanthropic programs. The national organization funds and monitors chapters, with local funds supporting community-based services, including the signature program Operation School Bell, which focuses on providing new clothing and supplies to help children succeed in school. The Executive Director is responsible for the day-to-day operations of National Assistance League, including managing staff, executing the strategic plan in collaboration with the board, ensuring the achievement of financial objectives, and implementing policies set by the board. The Executive Director will maintain professional working relationships among staff, board members and chapter members. The Executive Director will develop and implement annual professional goals and report progress to the board at mid-year and at year-end. Professional goals will cover operational management, communication and fundraising, financial management, and board governance. The Executive Director shall be accountable to the board and report to the board chair. Salary
