Responsibilities

Reporting to the Head of U.S. CIT Corporate Banking Group in New York, the Director will play a critical role in driving the origination of new business opportunities and managing corporate client relationships within U.S. TMT.

Engage proactively with senior management of corporate clients, identifying capital markets opportunities and executing complex transactions to support business growth.

Support origination of new transactions through active calling and relationship building, delivering tailored solutions across loans, trade finance, securitization/ABS, DCM, ECM, derivatives, and investment banking.

Work alongside senior bankers to deliver bespoke content to clients related to corporate finance and capital markets activity.

Analyze complex transactions and conduct due diligence, ensuring a complete and current understanding of corporate finance concepts for marketing to new clients and managing the existing portfolio.

Guide and mentor junior bankers, reviewing and refining credit applications and ensuring alignment with the bank’s risk appetite, policies, and strategic objectives.

Monitor credit quality and exposure, staying informed on client performance, industry trends, and economic developments, and provide recommendations to maintain a high‑quality portfolio.

Qualifications

Minimum 6+ years of related experience.

Unquestioned professionalism, ethics, and reputation, with a collaborative workplace approach.

Advanced working knowledge of credit documentation, capital structuring, and key financing products in the TMT sector.

Sophisticated analytical skills to assess opportunities and credit risks.

Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to clients and internal partners.

Excellent organization and time‑management skills to handle multiple/conflicting demands.

Ability to mentor and develop junior members to achieve team objectives.

Benefits • Expected salary of $200,000 for the New York, NY market based on experience, qualifications, and location.
