Interim Controller
to support their finance team during a transitional period. This part-time opportunity is ideal for a seasoned professional who thrives in dynamic environments, takes initiative, and is passionate about driving process improvements. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the month-end close process to ensure accuracy and timeliness Oversee accounts payable operations handled by staff accountants Review journal entries prepared by the Accounting Manager and ensure financial statement accuracy Initiate and manage the budgeting process, including the preparation of tax schedules Minimum Requirements: Proven experience in nonprofit accounting Strong systems knowledge, including familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains) Ability to support ERP transition (Sage vs. NetSuite) Advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, lookups) Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a small finance team Preferred Qualifications: Experience with ERP system implementation or conversion Demonstrated success in leading process improvements Comfortable working in a hybrid environment with some in-office presence #INNOV2025 #ZRCFS
