Job Title: Commercial Contracts Counsel (Remote) Location: Fully Remote (U.S. Based) Compensation: $150,000 – $170,000 annually Experience Level: 3-5 Years About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Associate with 3-5 years of experience in commercial contracts to join our client’s growing legal team. Responsibilities
Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including vendor contracts, NDAs, SaaS agreements, licensing deals, and service agreements. Provide legal guidance on contract terms, risk mitigation, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders including procurement, sales, finance, and operations. Support contract lifecycle management and help improve internal processes for efficiency and scalability. Stay current on legal trends and regulatory developments impacting commercial transactions. Qualifications
J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction. 3-5 years of experience focused on commercial contracts, preferably in-house or at a law firm with a strong transactional practice. Experience in the healthcare, non-profit, or higher education sectors is a plus Exceptional drafting and negotiation skills with a keen eye for detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a remote setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
