Overview
We are seeking a Locums Diagnostic Radiology Physician to provide weekday coverage at an onsite hospital-based setting in Wooster, OH. The ideal candidate will have experience across a wide range of imaging modalities and subspecialty casemixes, with the ability to perform light interventional procedures as needed. Position Details
Setting:
Onsite – Hospital Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Daily Volume:
90–100 cases per 8-hour shift wRVUs:
60–70 Modalities
X-ray (XR) Computed Tomography (CT) Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Fluoroscopy (Flouro) Ultrasound (US) Nuclear Medicine (NM) Subspecialty Case Mix
Emergency Radiology (ER) Fluoroscopy Nuclear Medicine Skeletal/Musculoskeletal (SMK) Neuroradiology Pediatrics Mammography (DiagnosticProcedures) Light Interventional Procedures
Biopsies:
Thyroid, lung, liver, bone, renal (CT or US-guided) Drainages:
Paracentesis, thoracentesis, abscess drainage, chest tube placement, cyst drainage Lumbar Punctures:
Diagnostic lumbar puncture, myelogram, epidural Arthrograms:
Joint injections – knee, elbow, hip, ankle, shoulder Requirements
Board Certification in Diagnostic Radiology (required) Active Ohio Medical License (required) DEA Registration (required) Experience in multiple imaging modalities and light interventional procedures Wooster is a charming city in northeastern Ohio known for its historic downtown, strong community feel, and educational institutions like The College of Wooster.
