Sr. Director, Global Products Strategic Initiatives Visa’s Global Products & Initiatives (GP&I) organization is responsible for Visa’s consumer payments product portfolio, including products like Credit, Debit, Visa Flex Credential, and Visa Payment Passkey. We are seeking a Senior Director on the Strategy & Operations team, who will play a critical role in enabling the GP&I organization to deliver against our 2030 goals.

This role will own the strategy and execution of strategic initiatives across consumer payments including leading Visa’s Global Product Drop. This is a highly collaborative and strategic role working closely with partners across Product, Strategy, Design, Data, Marketing, Comms and Regional teams.

Key Responsibilities

Own execution of Visa’s Global Product Drop including identifying products to feature, creating product narratives, building product demos & coordinating across Product, Events, Comms, Marketing and Design

Lead high impact strategy projects and initiatives across GP&I, such as Visa’s affluent strategy, and ecommerce roadmap

Structure and solve business problems, collaborating with a range of internal stakeholders across regions and functions to advance initiatives and ensure alignment

Inform the development of unique, creative, and impactful products and solutions by integrating insights across Visa’s functional resources

Develop rigorous, data-backed, quantitative and qualitative analyses to ensure strategic and financial soundness of decisions and recommendations

Build strong relationships across product, regional, and cross-functional teams

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in the office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Basic Qualifications

12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 10 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters/MBA /JD/MD), or a minimum of 5 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications

15 or more years of experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 12 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, or MD), PhD with 9+ years of experience

Work Authorization Permanent Authorization to work in the U.S. is a precondition of employment for this position. Visa will not sponsor applicants for work visas in connection with this position.

Work Hours Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

Salary and Benefits U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 229,000.00 to 357,950.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
