Cordia Resources by Cherry Bekaert is seeking an experienced Interim Controller to support a leading Not-for-Profit Trade Association during a critical transition. This is a confidential engagement requiring strong technical and leadership skills.

About the Role This position is ideal for a finance leader with hands-on experience in Sage Intacct implementation and a solid background in traditional controller responsibilities. You will play a key role in guiding the organization through its migration from Great Plains to Sage Intacct while ensuring financial integrity.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the Sage Intacct implementation, including testing, mapping, and go-live support.

Oversee financial operations and provide review of monthly close, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.

Collaborate with a small, tenured accounting team (Accounting Manager + 2 staff accountants).

Serve as a strategic advisor during a period of transition.

Qualifications

Proven experience with Sage Intacct implementation (required).

Familiarity with Great Plains (preferred but not required).

Strong background in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.

Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a hybrid environment.
