Overview
Our platform lets you work remotely, set your hours, and tutor as much as you’d like. You’ll be matched with students who fit your teaching style and expertise, with support from an AI-powered Tutor Copilot that enhances your sessions with real-time instructional guidance and engagement features.
Responsibilities
- Provide 1-on-1 online American Sign Language tutoring to individual students.
- Adapt lessons to different learning styles and personalize instruction to meet each student’s goals.
- Utilize the Live Learning Platform to conduct tutoring sessions remotely; no commuting required.
- Instruct and communicate clearly, delivering engaging and effective ASL lessons.
- Invoice for tutoring sessions; Varsity Tutors handles payments and logistics.
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style.
- Expertise in American Sign Language with the ability to explain concepts clearly.
- Ability to tailor lessons to individual learning needs and styles.
- Priority given to candidates with tutoring or teaching experience and graduate-level education.
