Overview
HawaiiUSA FCU is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to be part of our facilities team. Our Administration department is committed to ensuring that the grounds and facilities at HawaiiUSA FCU are well maintained. This role primarily works from our College Walk and Pearl City hub locations and will be dispatched to our branch locations between Mililani to Kapolei and Kahala to Kaneohe to service them with maintenance services where needed.
Responsibilities
Serve branch locations with maintenance services where needed.
Indoor and outdoor maintenance, plumbing, painting, drain inspection and cleanings, indoor and outdoor cleaning, cubicle and furniture setup and disassembly, landscaping, trash bin emptying, bathroom cleaning and resupply, and assisting and performing repairs.
Manage supplies, maintenance logs, work orders, meet vendors, and support the department with various tasks.
Qualifications
Education:
High school graduate or GED required.
Experience:
Three (3) years experience in the building maintenance and repair field required.
License & Vehicle:
Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record. Access to a personal vehicle needed; mileage driven from College Walk or Pearl City location to elsewhere is reimbursed.
Availability:
Availability Monday to Saturday (typically Sunday and a weekday off). On-Call in case of emergencies (paid time, when utilized). Able to travel to neighbor islands as needed (paid time, when utilized).
Minimum Physical Requirements:
Manual labor: ability to perform various manual labor tasks including standing, bending, pulling, pushing, climbing, and lifting. Lifting up to 50 pounds regularly. Standing and walking for extended periods up to 4 hours. Climbing ladders and working at heights as needed. Repetitive tasks such as sweeping, cleaning, and minor landscaping. Physical stamina to perform tasks in various weather conditions. Ability to operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently. Reasonable accommodations available for qualified applicants and employees with disabilities.
Benefits and Pay The expected pay range for Facilities Maintenance Technician is $19.52 - $24.57 per hour.
