Bollinger's technical design group, within the business development organization, seeks an experienced Naval Architect to provide functional design expertise for various new construction programs for Government, Unmanned, and Commercial customers. The role includes contributing to proposal writing efforts. Responsibilities

Provide functional design expertise for various new construction programs. Develop designs for new vessels, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations. Perform structural design and stability analysis. Collaborate with team members and stakeholders within the business development organization. Contribute to proposal writing efforts. Manage multiple projects and balance schedules effectively in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications

B.S. degree in Naval Architecture or Marine Engineering. Minimum of five (5) years of experience in new vessel design development for marine crafts such as patrol vessels, windfarm support vessels, offshore supply vessels, tugs, and barges. Proficiency in structural design and stability analysis. Familiarity with auxiliary systems design is desirable. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Familiarity with ABS, CFR, USCG, SOLAS, IMO, and other applicable regulations. Experience with AutoCAD, FEA, GHS, and Rhino software is desirable. Proposal writing experience is a benefit. Proficiency in AutoCAD and experience with FEA, GHS, and Rhino software. Strong understanding of marine industry regulations and standards. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Effective time and project management skills.
