Job Summary

Job Summary/Objective: The Value Stream Manager is a leadership role focused on ensuring a safe work environment, maintaining continuous operational execution, and producing quality products delivered on-time to customers within established cost targets. The manager will eliminate waste in the value stream process, identify business growth opportunities, understand customer value, maximize capacity to grow sales, and drive lean continuous improvement. This role involves leading and driving team members in Kaizen events, problem-solving activities, and owning the value stream. Key Responsibilities Manage all value stream related KPIs (SQDCI) Drive Southwire Culture of Zero within manufacturing/distribution environments by demonstrating safe and quality-conscious work habits and ensuring adherence to safety and quality policies. Co-lead investigations of recordable or significant cases, including root cause analysis and corrective actions. Ensure findings from safety investigations and alerts are implemented within the value stream. Deploy policies and processes uniformly throughout the value stream. Lead the Daily Huddle Process (DHP) and share relevant information as needed. Lead problem-solving events and ensure corrective actions are completed. Create standards for value stream processes and ensure team training, resources, and management are aligned to meet objectives. Drive team member engagement within the value stream. Develop a motivated workforce with skills necessary to achieve safety, quality, on-time delivery, and cost goals. Competencies
