Sunbelt Rentals brings a vast fleet of equipment and expert service to one’s job site. As a Road Technician in the Power & HVAC division, you will perform basic diagnostics and equipment repairs, returning equipment to service to avoid downtime.
Key Responsibilities
Perform basic diagnostics and equipment repairs on Power & HVAC equipment.
Ensure equipment is returned to service quickly and safely.
Maintain records of repairs and parts used.
Follow all safety and environmental procedures.
Education & Experience
3‑5 years of experience repairing and maintaining Pump & Power equipment.
DOT Physical Examination (Medical card).
EPA section 608 universal Certification required.
Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Understanding of basic refrigeration, electrical engines, and controllers.
Familiar with dehumidification equipment from CDI and Munters.
Knowledge of generators, power distribution, A/C, heater and shoring; diesel equipment; generators; and air compressors.
Understanding of compressed air treatment (dryers/filters/aftercooler).
Able to read electrical schematics and hydraulic flow drawings.
Physical Demands Requires bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 25 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors as required.
