Job Description Summary
The purpose of this position is to teach assigned courses in a variety of times and locations in response to institutional need, and maintain appropriate professional relationships with students, colleagues and the community. Courses may include online courses and/or dual-credit/early college classes.
Minimum Qualifications
Master’s degree with at least 18 graduate hours in Spanish.
Required Job Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Ability to plan course instruction based upon approved syllabus/outlines provided to ensure course content and objectives are met.
Ability to utilize a variety of teaching styles and methods to accommodate diverse learning styles of students.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience teaching at the secondary or college level.
Experience teaching college level online courses and/or documented successful training in a college online learning management system (e.g., Blackboard, Canvas).
