Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking an Echo Technologist/Cardiac Sonographer with at least 1 year of echocardiography experience and relevant certification for a day shift contract assignment.
Responsibilities Work in a combination of outpatient, inpatient, ER, and portable settings Perform a variety of cardiac sonography procedures including bubble studies, contrast agent administration, M-Mode, Pharm stress echos, RIT/RVOT, TEE, and treadmill stress echos Utilizes Phillips ultrasound equipment and Epic EMR Daily caseload of approximately 7 patients across 4 rooms Shift is 4x10 hour days: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM No call or floating requirements Perform echocardiograms, stress echos, and dobutamine stress echos in adult patient populations Scrub attire of any type is permitted No previous employees of the associated health system will be considered for travel assignments First-time travelers are welcome to apply Travelers living within 50 miles will be offered a local rate Drug screening must be completed within 14 days of assignment start
Requirements Minimum of 1 year experience in echocardiography required; 2 years preferred BLS required (AHA or Red Cross only) RDCS (ARDMS) or RCS (CCI) certification required Valid NH state license required or must be obtained prior to start (license required if applicable) Experience with Epic EMR required Preferred experience with IV starts, PACS, 3D echo, and McKesson systems References required for consideration
