As a CTSS Mental Health Practitioner you will work ins our CTSS (Children's Therapeutic Support Services) program. Mental Health Practitioners provide community-based rehabilitative services to children/adolescents, and/or their families depending on the interest areas and experiences of applicants.

Responsibilities:
Provide culturally responsive mental health skills to clients and/or their families (if working with children) in the home, community, and/or school Assist clients in identifying goals for functional improvement and work with them to meet their goals Design and implement treatment/intervention in-home reflective of client needs Receive clinical supervision from a qualified staff, and obtain continuing education units
Requirements:
In order to be considered for this position, you must be qualified in at least one of the following ways:
Meet the Mental Health Practitioner requirements as per MN State Statute 245I.04.04. These qualifications include the following:
Hold a Master's degree or other graduate degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields Hold a Bachelor's degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields AND 2,000 hours of supervised experience in the delivery of mental health services to people with mental illness
Candidates who have completed a practicum or internship that requires direct interaction with adults or children served, and is focused on behavioral sciences or related fields may qualify and are encouraged to apply regardless of whether they have 2000 hours of experience
Have 4,000 hours of supervised experience in the delivery of mental health services to people with mental illness
Meet the Clinical Trainee requirements per MN State Statute 245I.04.06
Has completed an accredited graduate program of study to prepare the staff person for independent licensure as a mental health professional
Meet the Mental Health Professional requirements per MN State Statue 245I.04.02
Licensed as a LICSW, LMFT, LPCC, or LP in Minnesota
Additionally, you must meet the following requirements:
Desire to work with children and families in their homes; this includes walking, stairs, and the ability to crouch, stoop, sit on floors, and stand for periods of time Ability to work independently; Valid driver's license/auto insurance/reliable vehicle; ability to drive a minimum of a 30-mile radius around primary clinic location Must be proficient in the use of computers, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Electronic Health Records (EHR) If interested in working with children/adolescents and families must be able to commit to late afternoon/early evening schedule
Compensation: $22.00-$23.00
