Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Cardiac Nurse at Mercy General Hospital, you’ll care for patients who may have life‑threatening cardiac events or conditions while helping their families navigate daily care and the long‑term plan for healing and maintenance outside of the hospital. You’ll never have the same day twice as your patients’ needs evolve. That’s why you must be adaptable and detail‑oriented, observing vitals and reporting warning signs early to our multidisciplinary team of cardiologists, EKG techs, and other cardiovascular professionals.

Position Summary
Managing acute and implantable mechanical circulatory devices.
Continuous renal replacement therapy and caring for thoracic endovascular aortic repair (TEVAR) and thoracoabdominal aneurysm repair (TAAA) patients with post‑operative lumbar drains.
Training in direct recovery of the post open‑heart patient.
Incentives and Relocation We are offering a $15,000 sign‑on bonus and relocation assistance for eligible new hires.
Job Requirements Minimum Qualifications
Current California RN License
At least 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a Critical Care unit
American Heart Association ACLS and BLS certifications
Preferred
Critical Care experience in a cardiac acute care setting

Pay Range $67.57 – $82.06 per hour
