Job Title Electronics Engineer – Lockheed Martin Space – Littleton, CO (non‑teleworking, office‑based 9x80 schedule)

Job Description Join Our Team as an Electronics Engineer where you will work on the development of a sophisticated state‑of‑the‑art avionics product in a world class Integrated Product Development environment.

Location: This position does not support teleworking; you will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility in Littleton, CO, and be expected to work a flexible 9x80 schedule in the office full‑time.

Role Overview Please join us as an Electronics Engineer where you will work with engineers in supporting both the design update and production phases, providing you with tremendous career growth potential along with meaningful assignments to stretch and hone your expertise.

Key Activities

Support Manufacturing, Production, and Test activities – Delegate CPE will actively monitor hardware from start of production build through Acceptance Test Program / Qualification Test program activities.

Delegate CPE will coordinate with Avionics/Electronics Leadership to provide support/guidance/recommendation to keep production floor moving.

Actively engaging with production floor, test conductors, and various (M&P) engineers.

Resolve component/box level test anomalies and troubleshooting activities by interfacing with appropriate stakeholders (e.g., Certified Test Conductors, Quality Engineering, Program Leadership, etc.).

Generate, review and present technical packages (including but not limited to) such as Engineering Change (ERB/CCB), Failure Review Board (FRB), Product Certification, Technical Interchange packages, as required.

Participate in engineering reviews (to include but not limited to): Change Review Board, Engineering Review Board, Quality Review Board, Material Review Board, Failure Review Boards, etc.

Mentor teammates on best‑practices associated to electronics design, test, and close‑out activities.

Willingness to learn about Worst‑Case Analysis and Part‑Stress Analysis and update as necessary.

Qualifications

5+ years of professional experience.

Experience in designing and troubleshooting electronic hardware.

Previously worked on integrated product teams.

Willing and able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor of Science or higher from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.

Prior experience in the electrical life‑cycle, with experience in both design and/or test of electrical hardware.

Willing and able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.

Desired Skills

Self‑motivated & willing to dive into problems that may exist outside their comfort zone.

Demonstrated ability to quickly close out near‑term tasking or address in a timely fashion.

Demonstrated understanding of Electrical or Electronics theories and principles.

Adaptable to new situations and demonstrate self‑initiative in solving complex problems.

Experienced at leading teams through challenging engineering and/or programmatic issues.

Ability to interpret and create electrical schematics in tools such as Zuken.

Experience in modeling and analysis tools such as OrCAD PSPICE and/or Saber.

Experience with Test and Measurement Equipment.

Electrical/Electronics design, integration, test, and verification on missile, launch vehicle, and/or satellite programs.

Experience doing PWB/PCB and CCA design.

Experience in Worst‑Case Analysis (WCA).

Experience conducting failure analysis on Electronics (CCA, Unit, and System Level).

Demonstrated ability to identify Root Cause and effectively perform Corrective Actions.

Demonstrated experience related to the design, integration and verification of Electrical Power generation, regulation, and distribution systems.

Knowledge of Battery Technologies, cell balancing techniques, battery management.

Understanding of Grounding Schemes used on missile, launch vehicle, and/or satellite programs.

Experience in Special Test Equipment (STE) design and/or utilization.

Understanding of Bus Architectures such as Ethernet, Serial (RS-422, RS-485).

Knowledge on Telemetry h/w is desired.

Experience with electronics design, simulation, and analytical tools such as Zuken, PSPICE, LTSPICE, MATLAB, MATHCAD, LABVIEW or similar products.

Pay & Benefits National Pay Statement Annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $104,500 – $184,115. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location.

Premium Pay Statement Annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $120,100 – $208,150. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location.

Additional Information Work Schedule Information: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
