Controller Key Responsibilities
Oversee all financial operations including accounting, audit, and revenue cycle coordination Manage month‑end close, financial reporting, forecasting, and budgeting Ensure SOX compliance and GAAP accuracy through diligent review and controls Partner with department heads to drive fiscal discipline and improve performance metrics Collaborate with shared services for revenue, materials management, and payroll functions Lead and mentor both on‑site and offshore accounting teams Serve as a key advisor to the CFO, providing insight, analysis, and action planning Controller Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or MBA preferred) Minimum 5 years of hospital finance or accounting experience (7+ strongly preferred) Proven success in a for‑profit, audited healthcare environment Strong understanding of SOX, audit, and compliance procedures Excellent communication and leadership skills to collaborate with clinical and operational teams
