About The Role Under the guidance of our Radiation Oncologists, you will deliver precision radiation therapy using the most advanced technology available, including the Varian TrueBeam and Ethos Linac. These platforms offer the latest in treatment techniques such as IMRT, SRS, SBRT, Adaptive Therapy, Surface Guidance using Identify, HyperArc, Spotlighting, Triggered Imaging, and a 6‑DOF couch. In addition, our department features an MRI Linac, ViewRay MRIdian and a comprehensive suite of equipment, including Siemens GoPro CT Simulator and HDR Brachytherapy machine. Sign‑On Bonus Eligible for a $10,000 sign‑on bonus.
As a successful candidate, you will:
Deliver a prescribed and planned course of radiation therapy to patients of all ages.
Operate the MRI control console for each patient’s scan, including selection of proper imaging techniques and operating various peripheral hardware.
Reinforce recommendations given to patient by healthcare professionals concerning reaction to treatment and care of radiated area, prevention, or treatment of generalized and local side effects.
Perform simulation procedures as prescribed by the physician and assist in dosimetry procedures.
Perform diagnostic testing on equipment, general maintenance, and quality assurance as appropriate.
Experience with Aria is highly preferred.
Your qualifications should include:
High School or equivalent; Post‑High School Vocational/Specialized Training in an accredited Radiation Therapy Education Program.
3 years of radiation therapy experience with demonstrated strong technical leadership skills.
Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology course plus radiation therapy course OR Graduate of an accredited Bachelor of Science in Radiation Therapy Program.
Licensed by the California State Department of Health (Certified in Radiation Therapy).
Certification by the ARRT – in Radiation Therapy CRT.
BLS or CPR.
Hourly Pay Range: $56.36/hr – $73.27/hr – $90.18/hr.
