Job Description & Requirements Specialty: MRI Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 11/24/2025 Duration: 10 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, rotating Employment Type: Travel Job Title: MRI Technologist - Radiology Department Contract Length: 13 Weeks Shift: 12-Hour Day/Evening Shifts Schedule: Full-Time Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated MRI Technologist to join our Radiology team. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in magnetic resonance imaging, attention to detail, and the ability to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging while ensuring patient comfort and safety. Key Responsibilities: Perform MRI procedures according to established protocols and physician orders. Accurately position patients and select appropriate imaging parameters to ensure diagnostic quality. Operate MRI equipment safely and effectively, ensuring adherence to all radiation and magnetic field safety standards . Evaluate images for technical quality and report findings to radiologists as appropriate. Maintain patient records and imaging data in compliance with departmental and legal requirements. Communicate effectively with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare team members. Maintain knowledge of MRI safety policies, emergency procedures, and quality assurance protocols.
